The Human Resources Division strives to provide a safe, healthy, and positive working environment for our City of Gridley employees. The Division's primary responsibilities include benefits administration, classification and compensation, labor and employee relations, recruitment and selection, organizational development and training, and workers compensation administration.  Human Resources also serves as a resource for former Gridley employees, potential new employees through the recruitment and selection process, and other government agencies.

Outstanding Employment Opportunity - The City of Gridley has an immediate opening for an Electric Line Worker to assist in the installation, construction, maintenance and repair of City’s overhead and underground electrical transmission/distribution lines, substations and related electrical equipment.  Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship program as an electrical line worker and prior experience working in electrical utility services is required.
