Annual Red Suspenders Day Parade

Event Date: May 19, 2018

Red Suspenders Day began in 1961 as a dance to raise revenue for the City of Gridley volunteer firefighters. It’s now a community-wide celebration spanning two days of family fun and events.  The Parade begins downtown on Saturday morning, organized and managed by the Gridley Lion’s Club.  Prizes for best entry in the parade are awarded and the winners are posted at the Chamber Office at 890 Hazel Street.
